BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon Debuts At The Frankfurt Motor Show
The 325i Sports Wagon is equipped with a new, standard six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission is optional. It is equally impressive in its space and roominess. Length (+1.65"), width (+3.07"), height (+0.35"), and wheelbase (+1.38") are all increased compared to the previous generation Sports Wagon, providing front and rear occupants with additional space and comfort on the road. The 3 Series is BMW's first to employ seat-mounted side-impact airbags, as opposed to the door-mounted type of the predecessor and other current Series. In their function of protecting occupants' pelvis and thorax regions in side impacts, the seat-mounted airbags are equal to the door-mounted type, but offer greater freedom for the interior designers to achieve their functional and esthetic goals. It has a sophisticated electronic control strategy for managing the deployment of airbags and safety belt tensioners. Called OC3, the mat is more highly sophisticated than its predecessor; it measures the weight and analyzes the pressure distribution of the occupant in order to distinguish between an adult and an infant in a child safety seat. The front passenger's airbags will be deactivated, should the driver install a forward-facing infant safety seat. The footrest is designed to crush under the force of the driver's left foot in certain frontal impacts, so that the full impact force is not transmitted to his or her foot and leg.

Toyota Lexus GS300: Venerable Luxury with Durable Toyota Parts
An outstanding feature of the car is the all-wheel-drive system. The more slippery the road, the more pronounced is its advantage over conventional two-wheel-drive systems. The car has an all-new 3.0-liter DOHC 24-valve aluminum V-6, which replaces an iron-block straight six of identical displacement. With Toyota's VVT-i variable-valve-timing system operating on cams, plus direct injection, plus a formidable 11.5:1 compression ratio, the new six generates 245 horsepower and 230 pound-feet of torque, compared with 220 of each for its predecessor. The new V-6 is bolted to an equally new six-speed automatic transmission, featuring manumatic shifting and an electronic brain that does a good job of avoiding excessive hunting, particularly in uphill runs. It also has an eardrum-pounding, wallet-smashing Mark Levinson audio system, its 11 channels of sonic wash flowing through 14 speakers, Rain-Sensing Wiper package that includes adaptive front lighting and headlamp washers (standard on the GS 430); a rear spoiler; and all-season run-flat tires. Luxurious amenities, exquisite quality, and remarkable technology--these are all the things that make up a Lexus. Partstrain likewise strives to preserve these qualities in delivering only the best Toyota Replacement Parts, Performance Parts, OEM and Aftermarket Parts. The Sports Luxury model tested here adds satellite navigation, a sunroof, intelligent cruise control, parking sensors and an excellent Mark Levinson stereo system. Operating full time, the GS300's all-wheel-drive system features a planetary gearset and a wet, multidisc clutch to couple the primary drive wheels, at the rear, to the front. The standard torque split is 30/70 front to rear, but the system's electronic brain can vary that to 50/50, making its judgments based on various driver inputs such as throttle angle and steering angle, and vehicle data such as wheel speed and yaw rate.

From Automotive Lift Parts To A Vehicle Lift
If you plan to offer brake work as a service in your new garage, you will need a brake lathe. A brake lathe will allow you to perform brake service and repairs. This will make your garage more of a one stop shop for your customers as you provide them with an all around safe vehicle. The brake lathe you choose depends on several factors. For example, if you bought a vehicle lift with additional automotive lift parts, you should choose a brake lathe that will fit into your space after you have installed your lift. All repair shops need equipment like air powered tools, ratchet sets, and air compressors to make quick and efficient repairs. In addition, make sure you have lubrication tools and fluids for radiator flushes, oil changes, and other services so you can keep the vehicles of your clients running like new. Your vehicle lift will provide you with the ability to do rim work, chassis alterations, custom exhaust, body repairs, and custom painting. If you have enough space, an adequate exhaust system, and welding equipment, you can offer customizations that put your garage above the rest. If you're an expert at auto repair, you can be successful in this business as it will always be in need as long as people venture out on the open road.
